Shelby has created her own non-profit organization called "Lindsey Claire Bears" in memory of my best friends little girl who passed away in July of 02. She died from a rare genetic disorder called Cockayne Syndrome. She was only 5 yrs old. Shelby collects teddy bears to donate to hospitals, police, fire, CPS and EMS. This is very near and dear to Shelby's heart. She herself suffers from a rare blood disorder and knows how scary it can be  to have to go to the hospital.

SO HERE IS MY PLEA!------

If you could please bring a NEW Teddy Bear or any type of stuffed animal to state with you. ( I know.. one more thing to do, but on that last run to the department or dollar store... if you could!) Shelby does not know that I am asking you to do this, but what a fabulous surprise for her ! She would be able to come home from state and drop of 30 bears to CPS !!!

I have found adorable teddy bears at the Dollar Tree for only $1.00 .
Help if you can ! ! ! ! ! !

Hope the bears helped, it was so much fun purchasing them also, the cashier thought we where crazy and the little girl behind us just commented that " your little girl will be soo Surprised" when I told her she was a teen ager  she said Wow "She's gonna cry TOO' smart little girl!! So we decided to spread the warmth and have decided to collect bears in the DFW area... Dayzee made her first attempt to collect at ATI here in Dallas (my sister is a student in the dental program) and we visited the classes there and they are going to bring bears to class on monday and we will take pictures (Shelby ad Jamie you will be the first to have them)  Dad who is a Police officer has agreed to take them to the station on monday night!  YAY!

oh forgot to mention brother decided he wanted to help sister.. so he asked everyone to bring a stuffed animal to his birthday party and they get a ticket into a raffle for a $25 gift card... yay!

oh and we did our first appearance the other day... dayzee took a picture with clifford at my brothers book fair!

That is soooo awesome!!! Keep me posted ! Putting a smile on a child's face .....priceless    !

It was so awesome!!  And when I let my friend Cindy (Lindsey's mom) know about it... she was sooo happy that people on helping to carry on Lindseys memory by helping children in there time of need.  We love you guys and thanks again!
