Through out the year Marilyn has been working on various community service projects. We raised books for the USO, she drew and collected pictures at her daycare to send to the troops, and I have decided to do something special for the holidays.

In our community we have The Reach for the Star Program in Wylie. The City of Wylie’s Reach for a Star program continues to grow. Last year the program assisted 370 Children. This year, with your help, 500 children from 195 families will have gifts to open Christmas morning. Marilyn is collecting toys from friends and her daycare for this charity. I found out today all donations need to be in by December 5th and that didn't give much time to collect toys from the pageant community, so I am asking eveyone to send $2-$5 by paypal to help buy toys. We are going to see how many children we can help this holiday season. Even with paypal fees I will still spend the total amount sent not recieved A few dollars from everyone can do so much for those in need.

Our total was $710. We got to buy IPODS, bikes, and all kinds of toys for at least 15 children. We keep getting paypals in so we are going to donate to Santa's Helpers and New Hope. Marilyn is back up to $120 Remember a few dollars can help when we work together.
